'We are thrilled to be expanding on this success with the new Sylvan Beach project, which will continue to make Central New York a world-class tourist destination and support the local economy with new jobs and new public revenues.'
Sylvan Beach Mayor Greg Horan is looking forward to the addition. He hopes it'll bring more people to the area. Horan said, 'We have a beautiful beach and world famous sunsets, and I think the goal would be if we could get more of a year-round destination I think would be great. I think this would help hopefully drive that.'
